Bailiffs

Postby Charlie73 » Sat Nov 26, 2016 2:46 pm

Don't know what to do. Bailif came this morning for council tax arrears £868. He said he's coming back at 2 with a van to remove goods. He's seen my crapp tv, my battered sofa. Said he's taking them to auction unless I clear the debt today.

I'm on sick pay, I have no money and nothing of any value. And that's how I feel now, worthless. I want to disappear, my kids would be better off without me.

Charlie

I'm so sorry to hear this. Did they come to your home since your last post? Hopefully, you can still communicate on the forum.

Have you been in contact with the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) about this? There is some useful information on the Money Saving Expert site about your rights in this sort of situation and they also have some CAB assistance there.

There are also some knowledgeable people on their debt free wannabe forum about this issue.

Hope you manage to sort out the situation soon. Try to keep your spirits up.
