Pen

Postby Andrew_Z » Tue May 29, 2012 3:07 am

A small corner section of one of my larger ink landscapes. The whole picture is my own idea of Victorian rural Wiltshire. I love drawing scenes that are full of things to discover. I've also drawn similar landscapes of Cornwall and Sussex, and all are drawn entirely from my imagination.

Please forgive me for hogging the craft board, but I need a bit of cheering up, and I'm very grateful for your kind comments.

Thank you for your lovely comments. Actually, I almost lost my sight two years ago with cataracts in both eyes, but the hospital has now double-glazed me with new lenses and so I can carry on my art work :-)

I have always wished I had a creative talent such as art or maybe singing would be a wonderful to express. I wonder if for you it's like a meditation being able to focus like that.

Well done you x

Hi Andrew,

I've just joined the site today, and so am enjoying my afternoon drinking lots of tea whilst browsing the forums.
I want to say as a fellow artist how much I love your work. It is as you say very detailed and full of hidden surprises, which are fun to discover. Pen and ink is a very effective medium, and along with oil pastels is up there in my favourites. Hope to see more of your work at some point.

Julze.
