Frustration

A life full of frustration,
I used to have a brain.
Now frequent lapse of memory,
Then flashbacks full of pain.

A fair breadth of knowledge
Shot through with shards of glass
Which shred my mental processes:
Make functioning a farce.

A lapse of creativity,
Creation once gave meaning
To all the pain which haunts my life:
Now I struggle for real feeling.

Now it’s pain and intellection,
No spark of joy, no glory.
No tidal flow of verse
Which once gave meaning to my story.

Those words are an accurate description of how FM affects us Tony. Made me sad to read it.
I feel stupid sometimes, as I can't recall words, phrases. I'm forgetful. I have to write everything for work, down in my diary so I don't forget.
Some things I can't do anymore, but there are still things I can do - but differently.

Much Love

You've captured perfectly what it feels like to experience the symptoms of fibro. Very sad :(

Thanks for sharing Tony.
