You're very welcome Gracious. I love that flower bedspread and would like to make one of those. Flowers are very fast to make, just a few minutes each.... I don't know how to put them together, but youtube would tell you how. I hope you make one. I am going to make something small... I don't know what yet? When I've made it I will put a pic on. That may give me a bit of motivation??

Genevieve489 I absolutely love Attic24 site and I have made the happy flower and a bird off there in the past, and I started a wavy blanket from Lucy's pattern a couple of months ago..... well done for finishing yours, its great. There are such great things to make from her site, and also some great links to others sites too.

Hi everyone,

I've now mastered the art of crocheting, I previously mentioned that I have joined a knit n natter group locally to myself, I emailed the leader of the group and asked if she was willing to teach me how to crochet, that was just 6 weeks before Christmas, and I practiced as much as possible, so that brain fog memory wouldn't take over, but there was just one bit that I couldn't do....the corners, because the lady had only shown me 5 minutes from the end of the meeting so by the time i had got home I had forgotten so a good friend of mine helped me out on New Years Day and now there's no stopping me, I've almost finished a continuous granny square blanket, so I'm xo pleased with it.

Hi all,
Just thought I'd share with you that I have now completed 3 full sized crocheted blankets, a children's sized one and I'm currently working on a baby blanket. I have got request after request for other blankets. Currently 3 children's blankets and an adult one, so I'm quite busy. It helps with my manual dexterity problems that I have always had

Hello

I have always knitted for years, till our friend Fibro stopped me. My fingers always cramp up after only doing a few stitches, i gave up using the metal needles as they were always cold and thought that was the problem and changed to bone; but that was just the same.
I learned to Crochet, taught myself when I were a child. So now I ordered a lovely pattern on line and some pretty wool to make myself a cardi...But can I find my Crochet Hooks...No..So went back on the site to treat myself to a full set of hooks with padded handles (posh)
Today, I just received an email they are out of stock; be delivered in 10 days...Typical.. I will wait.

What lovely work you have all done, all I can do is blankets I taught myself years ago when I was about 10 so a long time ago lol.
I haven't done any for years but I feel like starting again,i just feel like I have no confidence in myself.
If I do start again I will post a pic and you can tell me what you all think. :-D

Hi Magickef,

Yes, pick up that hook again :-)
I taught myself to crochet 2 years ago, from you tube videos.
I absolutely love making blankets. Got a "thing" about them lol
I'll attempt to share a pic or 2

Hi Claire,

Thank you! They're so easy to do. Just squares, joined together, following a graph. I use graphs I find on the internet, for hama bead designs.
Never in a million years did I ever think I would take up crochet, but I love it. I find it relaxing, and I can zone right out.

Much Love

Hi Maureen,

Thank you. The blankets are very easy to make. I love to make them.
I'm doing ok. Seem to have the meds sorted and they're keeping me on an even keel.

I'll try and attach my current project. It's a mandala. 18 parts to it, and I've just finished part 7. Will measure 6ft across. Maybe more :-)

(Need to move pic into a specific file to upload)
