Who Takes Pregablin And Gabapentin?

Postby becbob » Sat Aug 29, 2015 10:11 pm

I am currenly on the following meds daily-
Tramadol 400mg
Duloxetine 90mg
Amitriptyline 30mg
I have waited a long time for an appointment with the pain clinic and had an assessment the other day. The pain specialist there recommended that I start on Gabapentin to see how I get on. Have just started on a low dose. She also said that if that doesn't work then I will be put on Pregablin aswell as all the other meds I'm on.
Is anyone else on all of these together? It just seems way too much for one person to be on. I've read thst lots of people take one or the other but not all together at the same time. Can anyone offer advice please.

Hi
I'm on pregablin 150mg in morning and 300mg of a night with tramadol and amatriptaline I found pregablin are better than gabapentin for the pain, I was initially put on them for nerve damage to my foot after a operation hope this helps sue [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

I take Tramadol, Amitriptyline and have started on Gabapentin a couple of months ago. I have found the Gabapentin is really helping me, fingers crossed it does the same for you :-)
