Hi I'm a newbie I have had fibro for about two years along with other problems I have found fresh fish works better than meds. Has anyone else noticed this.

Hi Gerry & :welcome:

They say fish oil (omega3) is very good for the joints.

I have not eaten enough fish to notice any difference, but good to hear you have found something that helps :-D

Hi Gerry,

I abhor fish. I have tried and tried to enjoy it, but just cannot get it past my mouth. Having said that I do take very large doses of Omega 3 daily. I know that it can help the joints, but I have not found it to be a real winner yet. It has been two months since I started taking it, and I will give it a little longer, (along with the magnesium I also take), but I am thrilled that you have found a way that works for you.

Each person does metabolize differently, so this may not be a cure all, but it is definitely interesting.

I love fish, and eat it at least three times a week. I much prefer it to meat.
