travel tips for 2 week holiday

Postby dinosaur » Sun Aug 02, 2015 12:58 am

Hi
I am going away with my college to South Africa in October for 2 week and wondered if anyone had any tips, recommendations, items you take to make travelling and being away easier. My college know about my fibro, and i am on medication but don't seem to get much relief from it. I was only diagnosed in February and haven't got to grips with it yet so any help would be appreciated.

Hi Shellbell

to be honest it was hard work. I was given tramadol by my gp before going for days that might be really bad. but other than that i don't really have much to pass on. I tried my hardest to work through the pain and my college tutors were really supportive about it all. Sorry i can't be much more help. Hope your holiday goes well :)

hello when I go on holiday my bag is like a chemist I always travel with anti histamine tabs and cream in case of any reaction ,also anti sickness tabs and tabs in case of catching a stomach bug ,I find its important to try and keep to your regular time for taking your scripted meds , I think it really depends on where you go on holiday ,nevertheless , try and have a relaxing time difly
