K Laser Class Therapy

Postby Gilly52 » Sun Feb 14, 2016 7:09 pm

Has anyone tried this type of therapy for fibromyalgia ?

I have been reading an interesting magazine article on this laser therapy on how it can help relieve painful chronic conditions.

Number of treatments depend on the severity of your condition. There are K -Laser clinics spread across the Uk

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried this treatment....both with positive and negative results.

I hope everyone is having a painfree Valentines Day as possible.

Gilly :-) x

Hello I too read the article, I contacted Klazer who informed me there is only 1 lazer this side of London I live in Somerset and it is in Devon at a chiropractic, I spoke to them who reported a heavy call load from that article.
I have yet to decide whether to try this I cannot work out what it can do for my fatigue but possibly help pain in my legs, elbows and wrists.

Hi jojoba

Thanks a lot for your reply. Like yourself I would have to account for the travelling to receive this treatment. I agree probably not do a lot for the fatigue....more targeted at the pain. Somedays I do not know which is worse !
I live in Wales...I can find a Vet who uses the treatment on animals just 14 miles away....maybe that should be my next port of call ha ha !

Hopefully in the future, if it becomes a more popular and beneficial treatment for fibro, we will get to hear about it via helplines, media, etc.
I know it is available in Harley Street London..but needing 2 weekly treatments, that would be impossible for me, but we never know what is on the horizon, I am now into my 15th year with fibro.....try to stay as positive as I can, reasonable days bring peace and hope, then I overdo things and back to square one, after all this time...I have not mastered the art of pacing myself !

Hope you are having a reasonable time at the moment.

Take care, Gilly. X

Hello Gilly,

Like you it has been many years since I first had problems 17 in all, I have attended CFS course in North Wales we use to live outside Bala, anyway pacing has been the best for me but unfortunately contrary to what you are taught there is no magic button that says enough before you set yourself back again.

Yes the vets do use this laser treatment, having paid £40 a session for lymphatic drainage to no avail I am a bit sceptical, the chiropractic in Devon is charging £25 a session.

Take care Angela
