DLA/ PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE PAYMENTS

Postby sjc » Sun Jan 01, 2012 12:22 am

Hello folks.

Just wondering if anybody else is a little confused or worried about their DLA being stopped or transferred over to personal independance payments from 2013......Apparently, the Department for Work and Pensions is going to review all of those who are working age claiming DLA by next year......

Just wondered how the changes of DLA will affect you? Me personally, I do understand that changes will happen, but I am worried that geniune disabled people will loose their entitlement to disability benefits. I think that this personal independance allowance will be alot more tougher to claim, so those with only mild to moderate disabilities will really struggle. But that is just my opinion. :-?

Please look at the link below to look at the new changes that the DWP will introduce from next year, and how PIP will affect you.

Take care folks.... :-|

Sick of being sick, if you know what I mean. Anger keeps me going! I love campaigning for the rights of those with hidden disabilities. Enjoys talking to other like minded people - well, if you are sane, anyway :)

This is another great link to a website that states the new changes to DLA/personal independance payments.....I would suggest that all of you currently claim DLA or may do so in the near future, read up about the changes, so if you have to have a review, you are aware on how to claim....

Take care folks....all the best. :-)
