Home Visit

Hi am new here and have got depression and fm. Just wondered what a home visit entails as im in the middle of a claim for dla and might get a home visit..wud be very gratefull for any replies x

Hi
just tell them what you are like on your bad days,if asked to bend over say no, if they ask you why not tell them you are not going to do anything that will cause you pain. dont say you are pain free 3-4 days a week, tell them your pain is there all the time.

Just tell the truth, if you cant walk without pan tell them that, if you have trouble using the stairs tell them always have someone with you during any visit, medical etc just to ensure you understand everything that is said always ask for a copy of any report that is produced. :goodluck1:
