DLA (newbie)

Postby nadders2004 » Mon Oct 22, 2012 12:34 pm

Hi everyone, im a newbie.

Been undiagnosed for 5 yrs, been diagnosed for 2 months. Im 27 yrs old and I have applied for DLA and sent off the forms. i received a letter this morning acknowledging that they have received the forms , it also says that if i dont receive a letter in 8 weeks to contact them?! soooo my actual question is......How long does it usually take for them to go through your forms and reach a decision?!

thanks

It varies as to how long it could take. If you've included enough info and things to support your claim, it could go straight thru in a relatively short time. If they feel you haven't included enough info and they need to contact people for additional info it will probably take longer.

If your dog doesn't like someone, then you probably shouldn't either
