I've just been put in the support group. I used to be on ESA not income related as I get £2 over living expenses!
Does this change now I'm in the support group. I have phoned various people and they don't know what I'm talking about! Typical.
All help greatly appreciated

Now you're in the Support Group Kath, you should keep receiving your ESA as long as you're in it. The Contribution based payment stops after 12 months if you're in WRAG. The letter telling you about the decision should also tell you how long they have granted you until your next review, usually 1~2 years.
It should still be Contribution based that you get.

Depends on your individual circumstances eg care or mobility needs whether you'd be eligible for DLA or not. Best to take a look at the form and decide from there.
