Postby fibro-lu » Thu Mar 21, 2013 4:20 pm

Hi all,

received a letter from Job Centre Plus
they informed me that I am now no longer qualify for C ESA because 365 days are over
I am now entitled to £100.50 per week til further notice
I take it that I transit without filling in forms, going to interview etc
that's quite a relieve
I am single, living on my own etc which meens that I tick all the right boxes
just glad that it seems to go smooth

all the best

Hi, kazza65

ESA is Employment and Support Allowance
it is a benefit which one might be entitled to after sick pay ends
ESA is either contribution based or income based
contribution based will be paid for a maximum of 365 days regardless of marital status
depending on one's circumstances (single, living on your own etc) after the 365 days you might be entitled to income based dependimg of marital status
think that's it in a nut shell
if you like to know more you could put ESA or "Employment ads Support Allowance" into the search box of this site
It took quite a while to go through the process of appying for ESA and I am so releaved that I transmit automatically without filling in forms or attending medical assessments etc

all the best and welcome to the forum
