hi i think dla is now changing to pip for everybody and it goes by how you cope from day to day as in can you cook for yourself can you walk around the shops by yourself rather than how bad your symptoms are. ive just applied for it myself for the 1st time and had a doctor come out to me today and he said its more what you can do for yourself, he only took a brief note of my symptoms. i hope this helps x

From what I understand Vic, PIP is currently only being implemented in a few selected areas across the country at the moment. This linky has some things you can click on to see where and when it is coming in http://www.dwp.gov.uk/policy/disability ... e-payment/

There is something you need to bear in mind with this tho, whilst you know how things have changed for you, there is no guarantee that the DWP will see things in the same way, so it may not have the effect on your DLA claim that you are hoping for.

I have just looked at the link and it says from October 2013. I have told them a few changes over the years, and some times they kept it the same and another times they moved me to Up. So i know by sending in the forms its a risk, but might be worth a shot.
Thanks for your comments.
