Appeal help please.

Postby evie15 » Sat May 11, 2013 5:58 pm

Hello all,

hope everyone is as well as can be. :-)

I posted on here before about my DLA claim being refused point blank despite all info I put in the form, they said I needed no help at all.

As everyone on here suggested I have started to appeal and put in writing why I feel the decision is wrong, I asked for a copy of my GP report and TBH it wasn't helpful, the bare minimum was put, what I had to a certain degree but not how it effects me or how bad I am, mostly it was ticked as don't know, even though I have told them many times.

Anyway I sent off the appeal and have received a letter saying everything is being looked at again, now last week I have received a new letter from a new specialist who has outlined how extreme my condition is and how badly it is effecting my life. Can I now send this letter in and ask them to re read my forms with this new info in mind?

Thank you so much for any help. x

Thank you both.

Do you think as they are looking it over again internally first it is worth sending it and asking for them to reconsider the decision again?

I am going to photocopy it and record the letter too.
