DLA... Written or online?????

Postby kazisedso » Tue Jun 25, 2013 3:38 pm

Hi everyone and gentle ((()))

I am still working on my DLA renewal and i have been writing on the form ( just a rough copy ) but it is absolutely killing my wrist to keep writing i am not doing very much before the pain gets too much even with a wrist support.

My question is can you fill this form out via the computer?
And if you do is it frowned upon? by that i mean do the dwp want to see it wrote in your own fair hand?
I have always written on my previous forms but i am finding it too difficult to keep writing.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

( oh, and Admin, i use tapatalk app for this forum and it keeps saying are you admin for this forum? API IS EXPIRED can you please update tapatalk)Just thought i'd let you know, hope you don't mind.

Thanks.

I don't think it has to be done by hand. My husband filled his out on-line and then printed it out and posted it back to them without a problem. Personally, I would think twice about hand-filling it in as I suspect they will think if you can fill out a 50+ page form by hand that you have full use of your hand or arms

I completed mine on computer last year - although I use voice activated software to do it as I have limited use of hands due to another condition and again, it was without problem.

Good luck with it!

Thanks for the reply Gaia,
Don't suppose you have a link to where i can fill out the forms online do you?
I have googled it but all i get is the option to print out and fill in.

I can still claim DLA as my renewal is due Sept, all i seem to be able to get form wise is the PIP form and its not applicable to me as yet.

Thanks.

Thanks Fletch hun, but there is no link to fill in the form online, it just explains DLA rates and when PIP comes into force....
wonder if they have stopped you renewing online for DLA?

appreciate the link though so cheers :-D

I'm running Tapatalk2 on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and haven't had this message pop up on either device.

I quickly asked Mr Googly and from what I have looked at, it seems to be happening after users have updated their apps to Tapatalk 4 Beta, have you done this, or has has your app auto~updated recently???

I'm not quite sure, I need to check with the man behind the technical side of things. I'll let you know by pm what I find out, so your topic doesn't go off~topic :cow-wave: :cow-wave: :cow-wave:
