Hello, I have read some great bits of advice on this forum, I have been claiming income based support allowance since June 2012. I suffer with constant pain since a bike accident 13years ago.
Anyhow I have another atos medical assessment coming up next month and wondering if there are any bits of info I should know before going? I will take my pain management appointment letter along and hopefully a letter off my gp, explaining my symptoms and medication, which has been morphine and tramodol. They already have copies of my medical appointments, x rays, blood tests etc.
I am on the limited capability for work, not the support group, which I think is wrong but don't want to go through the lengthy appeal process!
Obviously I will explain the constant pain and fatigue I am suffering, along with my medical evidence, although I have not been diagnosed as yet. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated, I am dreading it really as I know what these atos doctors are capable of.
