You can mention specialists but they should be in touch with your doctor & get that kind of info. But I'd ask the specialists also just to be sure.

I would advise you to collect as much information as you can, and a statement from a friend or family member about how your life is affected by your ill health. Make sure you put the information about your worst days down, if you attend a medical make sure someone goes with you. Not just to support you but it is another pair of ears listening to what is going on and what is said. If you are unable to do the physical tasks that they ask, make sure it is recorded as unable to do and not won't do !
Good luck :goodluck2:

Get as much supporting letters as you can, I had a letter from the practice nurse as well as Doctor. That helped me

Hi
Just had an ESA appeal this week. Brought a friend with me for support and a person from Citizens advice came as my representative. He had got a letter from my GP to confirm my diagnosis and disability problems and I won my appeal because of having this documentation. It was extremely difficult with all the questions asked (felt like they were trying to trip me up in some way) but I took my time in answering honestly how my everyday life is affected.
I think it would be extremely helpful for you to have as much information about your treatment etc as possible. My representative assured me everything was helpful to the ESA board in reaching the right decision. Good luck! Gentle hugs

get sick notes from your doctor all time your in assessment side till they send you for a medical or decide which group you go in and give them all details of specialists and physios and any other people you see relevant to your condition. send all information and to be honest send recorded post as they have a habit of losing things and this way you can say yes been sent and signed for so it is up to you to find it. you will find it will be located

I didn't provide any letters or evidence for my ESA . They get in touch with Dr..just make sure that when you go for assessment..talk like it's a bad day..worst case scenario.. even if you are not on a flare..x
