Support group no medical

Postby lolabolla » Thu Jul 10, 2014 7:17 pm

Yesterday I was fortunate to receive confirmation from DWP that I will be kept in the support group for another to years.

More important though is that they just relied on my ESA50 and supporting documents. No medical to attend :-D

I found the information on the work and benefits website invaluable.

I just need to complete the renewal for DLA which has been staring at me menacingly for the past month.

Good luck to everyone who is dreading the brown letter popping through their letter box.

Fab news for you Lola :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing:

My review was last year, and like you, I made use of Benefits and Work. With using their guides I didn't have to attend an assessment.....Thankfully :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing:

Hopefully, with using their guides for your DLA renewal, things will go thru nice and smoothly again :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: :goodluck2: :goodluck2: :goodluck2: :goodluck2: :goodluck2: :goodluck2:

Thanks guys.

My advice to anyone who has these dreaded ESA50 to complete is to do loads of research into how to complete the form, produce as much evidence as you can and also to insist that the assessment is recorded and request a home assessment.

You may not get the home assessment but it seems to make them sit up and take note that you wont be messed with.
