Yippee, at last someone is listening to me. I have managed to get into the support group of esa. Its taken 2 years , alot of letters from my gp, consultant, neuroligist. Dont give up fighting it can be done. Best of luck to those trying to move into the support group.

Do you mind if I ask a few questions please? Do you know what descriptor they accepted applied to you? Do you have other illnesses? Was this awarded at tribunal?

Descriptors are points you can get for things like weather you need help in shower or cooking or how far you can walk.I had my tribunal meeting today and lost my claim. They go all the way back to the original claim .I didnt do a copy of that form I didnt know then I had to .That was 2011 through to early 2012 and I couldn remember as you would probaby know fibro .So I will be putting in for another disabilaty but this time I will keep a diary and write 3very thing down .

I.also have ostoarthritis in both hands , prolasped discs in back and neck, thyroid . I did not take them to tribunal i was advised to send a gps letter into dwp stating that i had been diagnosed in with fibro. When i rang them up to see if there was any news they told me i would have to wait for my medical. That was in january this year. I then received a letter today stating that i had been put in the support group.
