I was diagnosed thurrsday I was on the brink of looseing my job
I was still in probation and had 2 periods of sicnkness
I called them.Thursday and explained
My probation review was held in my absence yeaterday :(
I had a call this morning asking if id be in Tuesday I was confused
My manager told me the ops manager has fibro and fully understood
I.passed probation wich I thought was impossible

JUST TELL THEM IF THEY DONT UNDERSTAND DIRECT THEM TO A WEBSITE OR SUPPLY THEM WITH A LEAFLET

chances are they may already know about it

If they dismiss you thats disability discrimination

thanks for the reply, i met with my manager and senior supervisor today and it went well. they were really supportive and asked if there is anything that i need to change etc. and if anything changes in the future to let them know. They didn't completely understand what they were but i took in the booklets from arthritis research i had been given to explain it to me so gave them the ones i had and said if they have questions to please ask me.
