I had my PIP assessment at home yesterday and have been informed that I will be recommended to go on enhanced rate mobility. Please can anyone tell me if I already get mobility at standard rate and now ...fingers crossed...get the enhanced rate....will I get it backdated to when I initially started receiving PIP...or will it just be from the date of my reassessment?
Thanks in advance

Hi
I was on the lower form of mobility then they changed it after my assessment to the standard mobility but I did not receive any back dated money, they said to me that if you are already on a form of the mobility payment you do not get it back dated. Mine started 6 weeks after the date stated on the letter. I hope this helps.
