Any thoughts on this?

Postby jrbear44 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 6:51 pm

Hello Everyone

I wonder if anyone else has any thoughts on this :?: I don`t find my fibro is aggrevated by the weather particularly, can be just as bad when the sun shines as it is when it is raining. What does seem to aggrevate it is changes in the barometric pressure. Anyone else find this?

Im definately worse in the bad weather, more so when its damp or i get rained on, which has been regular this summer...
The sun helps a lot, my skin feels tight to touch but it seems to be worth it.
take care

Hi mine's horrible in the damp because of the pain, but in the sun I feel as much pain from inflammation ................. does that make sense?

Hi it does make sense, you cant win either way, I dont know about you but i also suffer from depression so i think the sun and heat helps make me feel better mentally as much as anything else.
Dont get me wrong, im still always in pain, that never goes away but im considerably worse in bad weather.
take care

Hi again Claire. Yes I get v. depressed too. find myself crying for no reason on lots of occaisions. The sun and lighter nights are a real tonic though, it means getting out a bit more for me so I associate the warm weather with happier times. Like you say the pain is constant but the sunshine takes my mind off things a bit.

Hi everybody.
I'm a newbie but here goes.
Yes the barametric pressure changes affect me badly as well.
Although I hurt all the time the pain gets a lot worse when the weather changes, good to bad or bad to good.
Take care everybody
bye bye
