Hope it tastes good ribbons :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed: Not putting the soup in hopefully won't be a problem, it just might make the sauce/gravy a bit thicker, which can easily be let down with some stock or water or wine/alcohol.

As for just chucking things in from out of the cupboard, some of the things we've most enjoyed eating have come about from doing that :clap: :clap: :clap: Only problem is trying to make it again, it doesn't quite taste the same as I can't ever remember exactly as thrown in :facepalm: :facepalm: :facepalm:

well it wasn't too bad apart from the fact i found out i don't like leeks and there was a whole one chopped in! I took the leek out and it tasted much nicer, it was country chicken chowder and i will be trying hearty beef stew later today x
