What was your first record

Postby helen virgo » Tue May 27, 2008 1:15 pm

Hi folks

Thought it might be fun to find out what was the first record everyone bought. I know our latest buy is the 'fibro what' cd but what was your first record.

For me I often had records bought for me as a child as my aunt ran a store that sold everything from toys to prams to LP's.

The first record I remember buying myself was YMCA by village people. Also been a big David Essex fan and Abba fan.

Over to you

Well i do remember getting a record with childrens nursery rhymes on but i won't count that one.
I remember going to the cinema to watch Greese. Fell head over heels in love with John Travolta. Well i was only 10 at the time 1978 i seem to recall. So i just had to buy "Summer nights" so that was officially my first record. :)

I used to love singing "Sandra Dee"." Look at me i'm Sandra Dee". Seem to remember doing actions to the song. I was very young honestly i was.
