So weird how being cold makes me burn..

Postby Lorirach » Fri Apr 25, 2014 11:35 am

One of the weirdest things I am finding is that when I get cold, especially my hands, they don't feel cold to me, they feel as though I have burnt them on the oven. It is so painful that I want to put them under the cold water tap (as you would do if you HAD burnt your hand!) but obviously that makes it worse.....yes I know it's crazy but I DID try that, just to see and it did make it worse! Is this just me? Is this totally abnormal? My GP doesn't think it is important as there is no inflammation or redness.

Does anyone else have this, or something similar? I feel like I am going

Its not uncommon or so it seems with us, as it has come up a few times in the past. try to warm your hands up slowly maybe putting some gloves on etc. it should settle down once the worst of the cold has been eliminated
