Would have been my Mum's Birthday today!

Postby TNK* » Thu Jan 29, 2015 2:08 am

I do often wonder what sort of relationship we would have had, would I be a similar person to how I am now, is she hadnt of died when i was so young?? I can imagine myself taking her put for her birthday for a meal and taking the P*** out of her for being an old bag (she would have been 71 today) obviously all in a light hearted way.

She was only 36 when she died and I was 9, i will never know what sort of relationship we would have had, but sometimes when im in work i see older women come in with their daughters having a laugh and a chat over food and it really tugs at my heart strings.

Sorry for the woe is me post

My real grandma died when my mum was 16, and her sister died young as well (they were both 36). I am now 36 and it preys on my mind a lot, it still doesn't feel any age at all.

Thoughts to both of you x
