I wish i was at hogwarts!

Postby juliet » Thu Nov 06, 2008 2:32 pm

darn.. just set up to do some uni work: under the covers in my bed, propped up nicely, laptop on lap, notes to one side and quite comfy and i realise that i have left my pen (needed to tick off things in notes or make more notes) stareing at me on the other side of the room.

dillema i really dont want to have to heave myself out of bed again and across the room to get it, but i do really need it for my work and all of a sudden i wish i was in harry potter and i could just shout accio...pen (yep im sad  ) and it would come running!

and that got me thinking...
how much i would prefer a broomstick than a walking stick or wheel chair..
how transport via floo powder would be so much better than walking up the hill..
how i would love some house elves to cook for me each meal time (and do the washing up!)...
and even better all the people that looked at me funny coz i was limping or said stupid things to me... i could turn them into mice!!!!

why is it that the fictional world is so much more acessable?

i wish i was at hogwarts!

Thanks for that i, know just what you mean that pen at the other side of the room may aswell be in jamaica, due the pain and effort it will atke to get it.
I'm sat here thinking i have no friends all gone really due to having fibro. Guess i really found out what they were like. They let me down in so many ways it hurts still, no one local with fibro, there were one on here gill, but she was moving as i chatted so to late to meet.
I wish i was peter pan so i could fly back to school when my friends wetre friends and say some things i wish i had said.
If i could fly think of the endless places i could go, life could never be boring

I'd like to be a werewolf like Remus Lupin, a change is as good as a rest they do say.

oh i have read them repeatedly too. i have found since fibro that i am often happier reading known books than new ones - certainly known authors.

me i want to meet madam pomfrey, spend a night in the infirmary, and wake up the next morning right as rain - ready to learn quiddich - or maybe ride a hippogryff.
