Hi Deb, I know someone who is opioid allergic so she has the same problem. Acupan is a non-opioid painkiller that is also a drug for Fibro because it works on dopamine levels. Might be worth asking about if you can't tolerate opioids and want a painkiller stronger than paracetamol.

Ask your GP. They certainly have the ability to prescribe it. Most don't know about it because it's so old and rarely used (as morphine is a far better painkiller post-operatively in the people who can take it).
