im trying to stop smoking,going cold turky ,been 3 days now i know i will put more wait on but who cares,im eating plenty of friut and not bicies or chocis,my hubby is doing the same ,so hopefully we can do it together,i will let you know how im getting on .wish me luck
just found out yesterday my daughter is expecting her 3rd baby ,that makes it 11grandchildren so far ,

well done jeanie, ive tried several times to stop before and its never worked, hope fully one day it will, wish you all the luck xxxx i have an uncle who lives in morecombe but i dont know where?

hi totoise thanks .iv tried a few times in the past too .but we are hopping to go to malta end of this year so thats my incentive.and my heathle too of course,thanks again

hi jenny thanks for support .wev saved 30.00pounds in 3 days so far ,hubby at moment suffering he likes his on a nite im a morning person with my coffe ,so now iv been drinking tea & water.

Good luck jeannie,congrats on the new baba,now be a good girl,go get some carrots and celery,a pot of cottage cheese with pineapple.Chop carrots and celery,dip in cottage cheese and munch away as much as you like,but be careful you dont turn orange..........cat :lol: :lol: :lol:

hi gill and cat thanks for your mesages it god to know we have support on anything on here not just for fm .im being a good girl no ciggys ,choco,sweets ,but iv got chewing gum wich is making mt jaws hurt .but i dont care as long as i dont smoke.ill try the salad what m call it.thanks for congrasts on my new grandchild to be :) :D
mm about malta ,well it will be our second honeymoon so i dont think i would see you at all , :lol: :lol:
we are all going to greece later on in the year[ virtual[so we can have a good time then :)

well done jeannie I also stopped because my daughter bet me she could stop and I couldn't, but I did she didn't and i'm still off them. That was 1st Jan 1993. So the very best of luck, its so worth it for ur health and ur purse.

Good for you, jeannie45.
My tip to reduce the number of cigarettes I smoke is to keep a lollipop in my mouth. It keeps your mouth busy, lasts for ages and you can get the sugar-free ones. (They are really handy if you are driving.)

thanks star ,im chewing like mad ,mm good idea ill get some lollypops makes a ccange from chewing gum ,dont normaly have it .it makes my jaws hurt even more :) :)
