lots of loving thoughts and prayers to Samantha and to you Craig. You are a star for keeping us all up to date with what is happening and we do appreciate it. If there is anything I can do then don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Craig. Please do get in touch. It sounds like her doctors don't know much about Fibro, however much they know about pg women!

I agree wiyh Linz World on that....perhaps what is needed is the involvement of a rheumatologist...or at least someone who has knowledge of fibro in particular who can liaise with the obstetricians. Hope things are looking a bit brighter today.

I had a chat with Samantha a week or so ago and it sounded like she was dealing with a lot of things that I've dealt with with Fibro. It's possible I may be able to get some info that can help, especially as I can ask some of the top docs for ideas if needed.

hi everyone, i called the hospital today and they said that she has had a comfortable night wich as a fibro sufferer i highly doubt! anyway they have said that a senior rheumatoligist specialist is coming to see her today so they must have finally cottoned on that that is a factor. so we will see waht he says.

to linzworld, i was going to call you last night but i fell asleep sorry, i will try and give you a call tonight, if i am back in time it sounds like you know more that the doctors!

she is having an amnio test today so we will hopefully know more when we get the results

thankyou so mush for all your good wishes, i printed the pages off and took it in to her yesterday and she asked me to thank you all.

Craig

I dont want to worry you but why are they going to give her an amio, with a history of recent miscarriage?
That really worries me to be honest.
Usually they tell you to rest up and the most they will do is a tummy scan.

princess, they think it is neccessary as a scan has possibly picked up someting with one of the babies that they havnt seen before.

the rheumatologist has been to see her today and is shocked by how bad she is and has asked that she be transferred to his care for a few days to try and get her symptoms and pain under control but the obstetricians wont let her because of the cocerns and symptoms she is haviong that are definately regarding the pregnancy. the aim is to get it all under control and get her home if possible.she is in a private room as she is having lots of tests and different procedures done so at least she has a little privacy. she is trying to be strong and not let it show.

i am moving our stuff in to our new flat this weekend too

Hi Craig

I have spoken to Sam on pm for quite a while.
I have lost 6 babies in my life, so i am very sensitive to anyone experiencing problems - i do hope all goes well and that the tests are fine.
She is in the best place and im sure they will take care of her.
Please give her a cuddle from Fiona ok
Hope you are ok, new flat and wife in hospital - thats a lot of stress, can you get someone to help you with all of this?
She says she gets on with your Mum so hope she can help you, pity her her family are not of any help to you both, thats sad.
Anyway we are all here and there is always someone on to help if you need to talk ok
love to you both
fiona

Hi,

I have been texting Samantha this afternoon and she wanted me to thank everyone for all the support on the forum.

I told her that (in my opinion) i am there for her because we all know what it is like to have this condition and how we feel when we have problems and sometimes the best support can be from people who are not related or in direct contact with because this can bring about higher degrees of honesty and candidness between people.

I think this forum is fantastic support for people who have questions, have worries or just want to come on here have a natter with people who understand. When i was first diagnosed i found that isolation was my major problem and this forum has erased this issue and i am guessing this is the same for many people!
