Thunder and lightening

We have had a black day again, with thunder and lightening - it was like that and torrential rain nearly all afternoon.
So now its after tea and the sun is out.
Honestly why cant it make up its mind!!!!

We had a bit of thunder and lightening too, the sky went really black, it poured down, only lasted about 10 mins, then sun came out again.

Yesterday this happened and we counted three between the thunder and lightening and a car was hit on our back road into the village.
Honestly we have never had it this bad, and village is having trouble with all the water.
The people at the bottom of the village have sand bagged their front doors!!!
strange strange weather almost monsoon like!! :yikes: :yikes:
