Thankyou

Postby Lucy-Lemon » Sat Oct 10, 2009 4:22 pm

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say thankoyu for all the kind messags over the last few months, its beeen lovely reading them all and nice to know people care :grouphug:
I am having the PEG put in on the 21st oct, which should make things easier. I still struggle with the feed, i can't take the fullamount and i really need to decrease the ml/hour rate but until the PEG is in i can't. (can only feed during the day with the NG tube due to the risk of the tube moving and possibly going ino my lungs). Physically i'm not doing too well either, still cant sit up for long and the pain, especially my spine, has been really bad.
We're still trying to sort out a pressure relieving/ripple mattress, had a lady here on weds for an asessment and she wants me to have a profiling bed too. She checked my hip and i am starting to develop a pressure sore, so thats worrying (but apparently it jumps me up the mattress list, so fingers crosed i wont have to wait long).

I hope everyones ok, thanks again for the lovely messages
Lucy xx
