Deefur Duck

Postby anne1206 » Sun Oct 11, 2009 6:35 pm

Back from Canada, had a lovely time catching up with the family.
Took Deefer Duck to help promote awareness of fibro :D The first person to ask what he was about turned out to be a pain clinic nurse
I was absolutely amazed to find out how well known fibro is in Canada, everybody either knows someone who has it, or is familiar with it :?
We in the UK are so far behind with so many things, the local fitness club has special classes for fibromites, every kerb has ramp access from all the roads, wouldnt like to move permanantly though, there winters are horrendous, the snow started just as we left  yet the first week it was in the eighties

Had to let Deefer emigrate  he took a shine to our neice who is eighteen years old but is downs syndrome, she loved all the fun we had with him, so I let him stay and I will get another duck to take on my next adventure :)

Trying to catch up with all the posts made while I was away, missed you all, nice to be back.
