HI im Christine - Mum has got out of hosital but is far from well.
They have found inflmmation at the join of small to large bowel and have given her pain meds and lots of meds to try and de spasm her bowel.
She goes back into hospital in 6 weeks for more investigations on small bowel - so she is in the right hands now.
Thanks ill pass on your good wishes.

Hi Everyone well im on the mend. Its been a bit of a rollercoaster the last year, but now i am in the right hands and the meds are working.....the blockage seems to have settled down and i will have more info after i go back into hospital in 6 weeks time. They are making a plan for me in case of immergency.
I cannot take, morphine, or morphine based pethadine or codeine - so they have to decide what they could give me should i have to have an operation, plus with the heart problem i am not a good risk for any operation.
So my new consultant has opened up a huge jar of worms - plus they found inflammation in my joint of large/small bowel and need to look at the small bowel in detail - the CT scan i waited months for is no use as it dosent show the part that the pain is in (honestly) + they have lost all my paperwork starting last year in June!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
So its a mess but i think this new consultant will sort it all out.
Well you can only hope.
At least my stamina is back and the horrendous pain has gone - so im pleased.
Thanks for all the lovely messages, i really do appreciate them.
Should be back here soon i hope.
love

Glad things are going in the right direction at last princess. The cafe has been quiet as the penguins have taken up medicine, hope they looked after you well. Hope it's not too long before you're back on here with us :hugs: :blowkiss:
