Thank you for sharing. I have shown this to my family to try to help them to understand a bit more.

Not seen this before on here, I think that's a symptom too, missing things that have always been there....

Great info xx

I've just recently been diagnosed with FM but suffered for over a year. I've had TMJ (jaw joint problem) though for over 20 years following dental surgery and I've had extreme sensitivity to being knocked or pinched since I was a teenager...so I've had some related conditions/symptoms for some time but didn't have full blown FM until I had flu and sinusitis, Christmas 2012. I've had tiredness problems since a teenager too and Urinary problems due to a congenital defect that required surgery in my teens.

Hi, do you have to suffer from all the symptoms to get a diagnosis?

dcr the thing with fibro is that we all suffer differently from severity to symptoms to which meds help etc. This is why fibro is so difficult to both diagnose and treat. Some people find that gentle exercise can help while others cant do any at all. So dont worry if you havent got everything listed :-D :-D

Can I ask a question -

Are swollen feet, hands, wrists and ankles a sign of fibro?

Thanks

It may not be a recognised symptom but I get very swollen hands when I have overdone it ...

Yes, I too have had painful, swollen hands in the past, which was thought to be the usual typists problem, but no, the specialist said it was due to Fibromyalgia. I also get swollen ankles and calves too, with stiffness, but thankfully, there has recently been an improvement on those, perhaps due to the Olive Leaf extract I have been taking, as this was the only different addition I was taking.
