Come and join me in the cruddy corner, there are lots of lovely, soft and fluffy blankies to snuggle up with on some really comfy seats that wrap around you as you sink into them :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing: :bear-dancing:

Despite the glorious sunshine, I'm feeling lousy as well :needhug: :needhug: :needhug: Partly thanks to OH being a :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :pigoink 1: :pigoink 1: plus some foot and leg twitching have been in on the act as well. And then there's the :yikes: :yikes: :alien: :alien: teenager

Room for a lickle one in that corner? I've got chocolate and a pink fleecy blankie and I'm willing to share. Is anyone able to rub volterol on my shoulder for me in a few hours pls?

painprincess I know how you feel. It still suprises me that just being out and chatting and socialising really takes it out of me. It was my 30th a few weeks back and my OH had arranged a suprise meal with all our friends and family. It was such a lovely evening but just sitting and talking really pooped me out for a good few days after.

I too had a moment like you this weekend where I just refused to cook anything, I really didn't have it in me so we had a chinese as OH had worked a 12 hour day so was unfair to expect him to cook for us. Don't be too hard on yourself painprincess, rest when you can and take care

hi all,
it was my niece's christening on sun however it was down in south hampshire. we left fri teatime and took us over 5hrs, then visiting family sat and by sun had enough so had to leave christening early and lay down. mon was another long journey back and haven't slept well since because of pain. i really enjoyed the wkend but i knew i wud suffer this wk for it and even though i no it's gonna happen (even though i prepare myself for it) it still depresses me that i can't fully enjoy a wkend with family

I often feel like that too kazak. What I try to do is, if I know in advance of an event I try and plan in a few days rest (or a few low key days with not much I need to do ) before and after said event. As I work still I tend to use my holidays so if I have a busy weekend I'll book the Monday off to recover.

Hope you feel better soon
