Quick update

Postby stodgers » Tue Jun 04, 2013 2:38 am

Hi everyone

Hope u are all relatively well!

Sorry I've not been on more but just been focusing on getting through the pregancy and finishing work for a year. Yay!!

Well I'm due next Sunday amd am happy to say that the horrid fibro has stayed pretty much in the background!
It's there don't get me wrong but it hasn't taken over and hasn't been half as bad as I imagined it would be. I'm still taking regular co-codamol to manage the pain and the spd that I also have but nothing else.

My worry now is how I will cope in labour but at least i know I can have all the drugs I want then lol!

I'll let u know when I've had him and how I got on.

Take care and gentle hugs all round x

wishing you a speady delivery

don't know where you are spiritually, please do not feel offended

New Living Translation (©2007), Exodus 1:19
"The Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women," the midwives replied. "They are more vigorous and have their babies so quickly that we cannot get there in time."

the background is,(hope I do get it right)
Phraoh wanted to secure to stay in power and to extinguish the Jewish poeple,
he ordered the midwives to kill every boy as soon as the women gave birth,
but the Hebrew women gave birth so quickly, the midwives had no chance to be there in time
the midwives (specifically the Hebrew midwives) were also glad to be late,
because then they didn't have to do what Pharaoh had ordered
still many boys were killed but Moses survived,
he was put into a basket and push into the river Nil
Pharaoh's daughter found him and "adopted" him
he was educated in Pharaoh's palace right under his nose
later in life Moses led the Jewish people out of Egypt into the promised land

this it is in a nutshell
all I want to say is that I wish for you to give birth as those Hebrew women did
very quickly, no complications

Fibro lu that has always been one of my favourite bible stories - Moses. Brought back many lovely memories of Sunday School.
