Tracie....

Welcome to the world of Fibro.................

what medication do you take If any ??????

Has your doctor confirm you have Fibro ?????

Your systome sound very much like fibro but you need to get it confirmed and then you need some medication for it love, then you are going to have to learn to pace your self and not go at hundred miles an hour like us women do.. lol

I how got diagnose was

1.. Always at my G.P cos pain
2.. They sent me to see a Rheumatologyist / Pain consultant who confirm my fibro and also said i had osteoarthritis.
3.. Then i was given Prgablin at 200mg 3 times a day had to build up to this level then i take 15mg of MST contius twice a day the 30mg at night them at night i also take amtriplyne 40mg to help me get a nights sleep.. Also for when the pain is realy bad i have oramorph to help..

Good luck and if there is anything else please read or ask questions on here i have found it invalueable also there is a support group the i go to i'll give you the link http://www.facebook.com/WakefieldDistri ... up?fref=ts i go to this group.

Tracie......Make an appointment to see your GP. Also take a list of all your symptoms. Your symptoms could be part of various illnesses. If he suggesta fibro then he likely would do blood tests to rule out anything else. Good luck!

What does the GP say?

If your concerned it maybe fibro ask the GP for a referal to a Rhumatologist

Instead of seeing this GP who is stuck for what to do next, is there another one at your surgery that you could see??? If there isn't a more helpful one, then it may be time to consider changing to a different one.

Altho there isn't a magical cure as yet, there are ways to manage the different symptoms so that you feel a bit more comfortable, so there isn't any need for you to struggle
