Postby armfaw » Thu Aug 01, 2013 7:58 am

I hurt all over... my back and neck... shoulders...muscle spasm's didn't sleep very well. I rode my motorbike to work yesterday, first time I have rode it in ages...could be that? . had physio yesterday, she didn't do anything, just prodded here and there.. going back next week for acupuncture, she's referring me for hydro.
today I feel   :too-upset: :scream-1: :scream-1:

I was so like you last night. Spent a night up and down with the pain in my legs and upper arms. Just couldn't get comfortable. It a hateful feeling and am more than a little cross and crotchety today!

Plus have to go to dentist later have been having a lot of pain in my teeth and lower jaw. Not sure if it s a filling I need or something more my jaw. Ah well may be I'll get more sleep tonight.

Like with any deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, accupunture will also release the toxins in the body and the symptoms can be fatigue, headaches and feeling generaly unwell for a few days.
Drinking lots of water will help.

Apart from that your body will need to settle itself down after the therapy and you maybe sore and feel rough for a few days before all calms down.

The needles are supposed to get right deep down into the muscle and then it relaxes. Its another therapy thats good for some and not for others but always worth a try as you never know.

hope it helps.

I've had far too many nights like this as well    I often have mine accompanied by nasal concertos courtesy of OH, even tho I keep telling him I don't want them :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1:

In fact, I'm not sure I really know what sleep is as it's been so so long since since I had anything resembling a decent night

It's been really warm here today which tends to make things worse for me, plus I have the delights of the docs and dentist tomorrow which I think is adding to how I'm feeling :-? :-? :-? :-?

Don't know what to suggest about the hurty at the moment I'm afraid    For me, I think being dipped into liquid nitrogen might at least help me cool down, altho I doubt it would touch the furnace that has somehow replaced my knee :too-upset: :too-upset: :too-upset: :too-upset: :too-upset: :too-upset:
