painful arm muscle

Hi iam new here. I was wondering if anyone has had pain so bad in one arm that it's almost impossible to do anything with it.

Oh god yes thats my worst part. Its horrible you dont realise how much you rely on yr arms until you cant use them. But yes i finx heat wrks for me too. :-)

yep and doing more exercise no matter how small just makes it worse - sorry

I have this in both arms and find it almost impossible to do much when the pain is at it's worst :( I can't do/undo my bra, pull a top/jumper off.

You just don't realise just how much you take for granted until Fibro strikes!

Thanks for the help everyone. Its so uncomfortable at times. Iv taken morphine its took the edge off it. Gentle hugs x

Try heat and cold in rota. Also do you have a topical gel you could put on like Voltarol, I personally find Menthol gel works quite well of me, it almost numbs the area so you can't feel the pain. I buy it in places like Home Bargains or the £1 store x

I got Capsicum Cream from the pain clinic which is good for localised pain areas, ask about a prescription!
