Chest Pain!

Postby wheelz_of_fire » Tue Oct 22, 2013 3:02 pm

So, a few nights ago I was nicely asleep when I woke up with this massive chest pain that started at my solar plexus and spread throughout my chest. I had no other symptoms, no sweating, etc and the pain passed after 5 or so minutes. My question is - is this a part of FMS? Thanks for your replies in advance! :-)

Hi,
well it could be, anything is possible with fibro, but i would get it checked out with a GP asap...you can never be too sure, I'm loathe to just shove everything under fibro.
Best get checked and be safe.

good luck Jan xxx

I get chest pains a lot I put them down to anxiety. I would get it checked out as everyone is different and especially if you are having difficulty breathing :-)

So I phoned my doctor today to make an appointment and I was told that it would take at least two weeks to see any doctor at the surgery! I told them where to go nicely, and I have decided that if this pain hits me again I am phoning for an ambulance and going to ER. I couldn't believe it when they said two weeks at the least... it's lucky I am not dying, isn't it? :-D

Ive had costochrondritis and its so painful to say the least. My new gp put me on pregabalin and ive improved so much.

If anyone has chest pains please go to your gp and get checked out.
