Hi :-)

I started having my first symptoms after surgery but I should add that I was in agony for 6 months before the operation and totally scared as I didn't know how I'd react to the general anesthetic.

When I went to see a spinal surgeon last week, they told me that because of Fibro they'd try to avoid surgery to fix my slipped vertebra and damaged disc as it can cause a flare up in some people.

As said before, try and talk to the doctor about your medication and Fibro and your concerns. Maybe they could adjust your meds IF you feel worse after. Having said that, you might be just fine and won't feel any different. Well, exceptfor the surgery I mean.

My mum was always extremely stressed before any surgery. So she told the doctors and they gave her something to calm her down. It worked rather well, they almost didn't need to use the general anesthetic lol She nearly feel asleep from the calming pill alone.
Not sure if that would be an option, maybe you could ask?

Good luck! :goodluck2: :fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:
Gentle :hugs: :hugs: , Karou
