Postby hjlinton » Sat Nov 02, 2013 2:43 pm

Hi I am experiencing really bad painful breasts at the moment and nothing
seems to ease the pain. Its much much :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: worse than when I was pregnant.
Does anyone else suffer this and does anyone have any tips on
how to ease this pain. Its driving me mad. Xx :-x :-x :needhug: :pull-hair:

Yes a lot and it's a nightmare. I would suggest getting a soft bra that you can wear in bed to help support the breast tissue and the chest muscles I'm a side sleeper and I have found this helps also get re measured at a store and try lots of different bras depending on the pain I have to wear different styles also high dose Starflower Oil helps ease any inflammation. This is definitely a fibro pain as I had a hysterectomy so no cycle to attribute to hormonal fluctuations causing breast pain. Good luck hope you get some relief :)

Do you get painful ribs and breast bone with it? I have Costchondritis and get very tender breasts when i am having a flare up from it as well as the fibro. But i would get checked out by your doctor.

I have Costochondritis too, but I also suffer badly from breast pain. A specialist nurse once advised me to take Evening Primrose Oil - and specifically suggested Efamol's version as she considered it to be the best. I take some every day now, and it has helped enormously. Definitely worth getting checked out.

Hi I have very painful breasts and this is due to Costochondritis. I know this is not anything else as I went through the change when I was 40yrs old. I wear the comfort bras as they are lovely and soft with nothing hard pressing on my boobs or ribs so this might help you also if you find a normal bra to painful.

Costachronditus and breast pain can be very painful. I can no longer wear underwire bras. You have to try different ways of dealing with the pain Im afraid.
