Do you have "days off"?

Postby Sye » Sun Nov 10, 2013 2:17 pm

I was just wondering whether you guys have constant symptoms or whether you do get "days off" (flare ups) so to speak. Currently I've had symptoms at least daily which can be in different areas each time.

Thats typical of fibro I'm afraid but the intensity can vary from mild to severe (generally during a flare)

At the moment I've got like a burning sensation around my knee in one of my legs. I usually get this when I'm laying on that particular side in bed or something but it seems to be constantly atm :/

Have you tried gentle stretching of that leg, it can help to loosen up the muscle and so stop the burning a little :-D :-D :-D :-D

I have actually! I tend to stretch out my calves and toes and do the circular motion with my feet. It helps slightly but returns as soon as I stop :(

I don't think I've had a pain free day since my car crash 11 years ago! The pain varies from place and intensity, however it's always there!

I get odd days when things are so mild I actually don't notice them, but I can't say I can remember a pain free day in over 3 years. But then, my FM is pretty mild so I'm not really entitled to complain.

Hi,

My FM is unpredictable. I can go for weeks with fairly mild pain but recently when it flares up it really goes for it. I have pain in my knees, hips, back, (lower & upper) neck, wrists and fingers. At the mo I am struggling with all and have been for the last 11 days now. I think this is the longest so far. Hoping that it eases off a bit soon. I think, after reading what other people have put, everyone suffers quite differently.
