lipoedema/trigger points

Postby Genie65 » Fri Dec 06, 2013 9:20 pm

Does anyone on these forums have lipoedema? I wonder if the nodules in my thighs and upper arms have any connection with fibro. The nodules are apparently in the fascia rather than the actual muscles and I have been told by the lymphoedema nurse that there in no treatment for these modules apart from wearing compression stockings or tights. This I find painful because my muscles hurt and I bruise easily. Difficult to tease out what is fibro and what is lipoedema. I have been diagnosed with fibro (1998) and I would welcome any suggestions as how to handle this situation. Anyone else have this problem? Is there any connection with trigger point?
