Hi there, yep I've 2 DD is 14 and has special needs and my DS is 12 with teen hormones just kicking in. I find the screaming matches they have with each other really affects me, my OH works part time, as he is my career the rest. I just wish there was a way of getting them all to understand what it's like for me xxx

Hi
I have 4 children, my oldest 2 have left home now so its just me and the younger 2 (they are 10 and 8). I struggle with the guilt everyday, for the last 12 months I have got steadily worse and some days I can only get out of bed to take them to school. But luckily for me they're both very understanding and know that mommy needs rest and is in pain all the time so they help me as much as they can. I make sure that when I can do things with them I do and even when I can't and I'm stuck in bed, they'll come and get in bed with me and we'll read books together, play a board game or just watch a dvd or some tv together. They're not bothered what we do as long as we're together, but I still have to stop myself feeling guilty I think having them feelings is just part of being a mom.

Nic :-)

My daughter will be 3 in May, I was diagnosed when she was about 18 months. It hard going, especially when at that age they don't understand mummy isn't feeling great. I'm a single mum with very little support, my toddler is, well a typical toddler haha. We go to a talking tots class once a week, have play dates and go to soft play so she can socialise with other kids.

SO tired today could write more later x

I'm a single mom too hun and have little support too. I try to get on with things and not let the fibro get me down, but sometimes it all gets alittle too much. My youngest two are older and help me alot now can't imagine having this and looking after a toddler. :-)

Hey I have 3 kids - girls 12 & 10 & my wee boy is 6 I feel really guilty a lot, the girls can be very good & helpful but also can be an absolute nightmare hormones flying everywhere!! lol. My son is so good at helping, he likes cleaning & hoovering (hope he doesnt grow out of it) I am on my own with them, my poor mum helps a lot even though she works full time but I feel so guilty about this also! I do struggle with accepting I can no longer do all the things I used to! All you can do is pace & rest to save any energy you have for the kids! xx
