It was all I could do to crawl out if bed. I wanted to stay there under the duvet, my head on a squidgy soft pillow and aware I had virtually nothing in me to move me out of bed.
But out if bed I got, and it have survived the day. My back, neck and hands have got the better of me, tears have fallen but I ran out of energy for those.
So I'm sitting wondering what the point of the day was...

Well,
I managed to buy a reconditioned iPad from Apple for my mum who is eighty on Friday. I was left a small inheritance from my aunt last month and so wanted to use it to get my mum an iPad but didn't have enough money, but then I found the reconditioned one!

I got the bedding dry outside blowing in the wind on the washing line!

My two year old grandson told me I was his bestest friend.

I was able to feel so lucky that my home is not flooded.

I hope you all had some moments in the day when you were able to smile. We need to make sure we don't miss the positive moments.

Wishing you a good night, whichever method you use :teddy-bear: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1: :teddy-bear: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :sheep: :snore1: :snore1: :snore1:

What a lovely post, I was in a mood last night I hurt and was tired my little one was dancing to show me show me a programme on tv .they have to dance and stop without moving. Bless her at 20months she always hold a leg up hehe, she really believes she's not moving and I always clap her after. I looked at her and though how lucky I am to have her.

What a lovely post.

So often we can have really bad days and not realise that the little things really do matter.

Today (well yesterday) I was in a lot of pain with my foot (dropped a TV on it a week ago - not broken just badly bruised and 50 shaed of purple at the moment lol) and tired and grumpy because I was tried aswell as the FM pain all over.

We recently adopted 2 baby budgies from the RSPCA who were badly treated by their owners. They have been very timid and scared of us fo rthe last week (understandable considering what they have come from)

Well we have been trying to encourage them to come out of their cage for a play and socialise and get them used to us and they were having none of it. But we were being very patient and understanding with them and taking our time. Last night we did the usual routine of taking them up to our bedroom in their cage (safer up there for them) and for the first time they ventured out of their cage while sat on a perch. They let my hubby carry them out and place them ontop of the cage and they even landed on us a few times and just sat there.

May only seem like a small thing but to see these cute little things gaining trust in us and being able to come out and play really made me snap out of my grump.
