anyone else with raised CK levels?

Postby bandj » Fri Feb 21, 2014 7:39 pm

Saw the neurologist on Wednesday, no lobotomy :-D

but he did say the ck levels in my blood were remaining higher than normal, not high enough to be a problem which makes him think I have not got fibromyalgia although rheumy says I have.

now I've got to get my thyroid checked again. It is under active anyway.

Just wondered if others have had the same?

I have had raised ck levels a number of times. Mine were really high and they think it was myositis causing it.

Thank you all for your answers. It was good of you to take the time to reply.

Alexandria, I haven't had myositis mentioned to me yet. They want to keep monitoring.

Kiara, it would be great to be told I haven't got fibromyalgia but only if all my pain and fatigue go at the same time!!
