Feeling flushed in face

Postby gibbo82 » Tue Apr 15, 2014 11:18 pm

Anyone else noticed since the warmer weather has arrived they are feeling flushed in the face!?. I never suffer from it in the winter months, Very strange! :/

Is this a common symptom?

I get a hot rash on my face when I flare, but I also get hot flashes, partly from medical menopause, partly fibro, and partly meds..... I sleep on incontinence sheets now as at least once in the night I will wake up soaked through :/
Fibromyalgia comes in many shapes, sizes and abilities... DON'T DISCRIMINATE!!!!

This may not be the cause in your case but another cause of face flushes is if you are taking a B Complex and your body reaches a saturation point with Vit B3 (Niacin), there is a symptom called a Niacin flush. Just sayin' :-?

You're clearly no alone with feeling flushed. I've been having hot flushes for years and I'm never sure if it's because of my fibro or if it's because I've also got PCOS. I went to the Dr about it and was surprised to be told that I had to have an x-ray as well as blood tests because flushes can be a sign of lymphoma. Thankfully, I didn't have lymphoma but I'm no clearer on what causes the flushes.

I can feel cold to the touch hands arms legs, but i am burning up so that my t shirt is wet, i wake up with wet clothing,if i am going somwhere i take a clean t shirt or blouse to get changed, i have been asked is it menopause,What at 70? I just thought it was me,but now i know it must be meds or fm,I think i will check meds out with dr because walking around with wet clothing is embarrasing
